My name is Cindy Barbosa (she/her) and I’m from New York. I’m a sophomore studying Communication Arts with a certificate in Integrated Liberal Studies. I’m especially interested in social activism through art and literature, along with the role of women in nonviolent movements. Nonviolence has historically been a powerful tool for achieving social and political change and NVP makes education and research on important nonviolent resistance more accessible.
