Hi! I’m a senior majoring in International Studies and Legal Studies, with certificates in History, Africa, and the Middle East. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I grew up surrounded by a passionate community of grassroots activism, which led me to my current studies focusing on human rights and social movements.
I am excited to be working with the Nonviolence Project to help educate others about how the methods and theory of nonviolence may be relevant to them. My interests focus primarily on migration, LGBTQ+ rights, and language rights, as well as the influence of imperialism and neocolonialism on these issues. I am particularly interested in North Africa and the Mediterranean, and I just recently returned from studying Arabic in Rabat, Morocco.
